1. Covered Products & Parties
This warranty applies only to new vending machines sold under the Federal Machine brand(s) that are manufactured by The Wittern Group, Inc. All other products manufactured by third parties are subject to those manufacturers’ warranties. The Wittern Group is not responsible for the fulfillment of those warranties. Contact the original manufacturer for details. The Wittern Group, Inc. coverage is provided to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. All parts and service are provided by Vendnet (Vendnetusa.com).
2. Warranty Term & Coverage
The warranty period for all The Wittern Group, Inc.-manufactured vending machines (known as motor and coil machines or lockers) is two (2) years (one year for Sam’s Club purchases) from the date of purchase. Vendnet will replace or repair any part covered by the warranty, including refrigeration systems on cold and frozen glass front vending machines that fail due to a defection in material or workmanship for one year.

3. Covered Components
Covered parts for motor and coil machines and lockers include control boards, vend motors, product delivery mechanisms, internal wiring, and factory-installed systems. Refrigeration systems (if included) are covered for defects in materials or workmanship.
4. Warranty Service & Remedy
Warranty service is administered through Vendnet. The company will repair or replace defective parts at its discretion. Customers must return failed parts for inspection if requested.
5. Costs & Responsibilities
The warranty covers parts only. Customers are responsible for labor, removal, reinstallation, and shipping costs unless otherwise stated. Vendnet will assume no liability resulting from improper installation or use of this product. In no case shall the company be liable for any consequential damages for breach of this, or any other warranty expressed or implied whatsoever. This limitation as to consequential damages shall not apply in states where prohibited.
6. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, vandalism, improper installation, or unauthorized repair. Normal wear items such as bulbs, fuses, and cosmetic components are excluded. Optional add-ons may not be covered.
7. Claims Process
To make a claim, the customer must contact Vendnet with the machine model and serial number. Technical support will assist in diagnosing issues and determining next steps.
8. Extended Warranty Options
Optional extended warranty programs may be available for purchase to extend coverage beyond the initial two-year period. See Vendnetusa.com for purchase details.
9. Indoor/Outdoor Usage
Machines are for use in climate-controlled environments only. Machines are not designed for outdoor use unless identified as such on the product website. Any use and exposure in a non-climate controlled environment voids and all warranties.
10. Limitations of Liability
The remedy under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts. The manufacturer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages including lost profits or downtime.
THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, WRITTEN OR ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF EITHER MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Federal Machine is a subsidiary brand of the The Wittern Group, Inc. The agents, dealers or employees of The Wittern Group, Inc.; subsidiaries; employees; affiliates and contractors are not authorized to make modifications to this warranty or to make additional warranties that are binding on The Wittern Group, Inc. or any subsidiary. Accordingly, statements by such individuals, whether oral or written, do not constitute warranties and should not be relied upon.
THE BUYER’S REMEDY AGAINST THE WITTERN GROUP INC., FOR THE BREACH OF ANY OBLIGATION ARISING OUT OF THE SALE OF THIS EQUIPMENT, WHETHER DERIVED FROM WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE, SHALL BE LIMITED, AT THE WITTERN GROUP’S SOLE OPTION AS SPECIFIED HEREIN, TO REPAIR, REPLACE OR REFUND.
In no event shall The Wittern Group, Inc. or an of its subsidiaries be liable for any other damage or loss, including but not limited to, lost profits, lost sales, loss of use of equipment, claims of Buyer’s customers, cost of capital, cost of down time, cost of substitute equipment, facilities or services, or any other special, incidental or consequential damages.
